This page provides basic reference data on an idealized Solar Heat system. It is intended for students in the 2nd through 4th grade levels. It will explain basic theory only and is not designed as a set of plans to construct a working system. If you or your students would like a more in-depth report, take the SYSTEM TOUR, found on the main Solar Topic Page. Teachers may freely copy these pages, for use in their classrooms. They may not be sold or otherwise copied into derivative works without written consent.
